I should have been born a man.

#omggggg look at his face when he takes off his helm and looks on the room and the throne that renly should’ve taken #he may have avenged renly to an extent but the victory is bittersweet

[Flash 9 is required to listen to audio.]

The Rains of Castamere was a song written about Lord Tywin Lannister’s crushing victory over rebellious House Reyne of Castamere and the destruction of the House at the end of their rebellion.

And who are you, the proud lord said,
that I must bow so low?
Only a cat of a different coat,
that’s all the truth I know.
In a coat of gold or a coat of red,
a lion still has claws,
And mine are long and sharp, my lord,
as long and sharp as yours.
And so he spoke, and so he spoke,
that lord of Castamere,
But now the rains weep o’er his hall,
with no one there to hear.
Yes now the rains weep o’er his hall,
and not a soul to hear.

The smallfolk say it was King Renly’s ghost, but wiser men know better.

#she wanted to die on the iron throne #in armor #by her own hand #with the son she can love like a cub#but she drops it in one second the minute he walks in #like she was never afraid #she is her father’s son; she was never afraid #the lion was never declawed and the story was never outside of her grasp

If I die, I will die with an axe in my hand and a curse upon my lips.

If I die, I will die with an axe in my hand and a curse upon my lips.
